Hurry Up and Wait
“I can’t wait to get married.”
“I can’t wait to have a baby.”
“I can’t wait to go on vacation.”
“I can’t wait to buy a new house.”
“I can’t wait to buy a new car.”
‘I can’t wait for my child to turn 18.”
How many moms are guilty of quoting one or all of the “I can’t wait” statements above?
As a mother of the Millennial Age, raising children can be complex, many are trying to “Keep up with the Joneses.”
As technology forces us to move quickly and wildly, many look ahead to time passing. You have overheard the saying, “Leave the past in the past and the future in the future because today is a present, ” right?
Let’s try and live by that; apply these simple time management rewards and concentrate on today:
Practice routines that encourage and develop true concentration, life clarity, emotional positivity, and calmness of the true nature of matters of life.
Spend time understanding yourself; search for peace to ease your mind, peace of mind!
Reduce all distractions, and allow time to slow down for a solid 30-60 minutes a day.
Make time for your family (daily); read a book, watch your favorite shows or movies together, play a new game or have a simple conversation about the day.
Share a sincere appreciation of kindness or benefits that you have received.
Recognize others for their services. How did they affect your day?
Show some Love:
Hug your loved ones and squeeze them tight.
Say, ” I love you” and mean it.
Discover a Hobby:
Invest your time in a passionate activity and practice your hobby regularly.
Enjoy your leisure time for pleasure; you never know what you will learn about yourself!
Slow down, adjust your mindset. Life is better when enjoyed it.
