Braids are the natural go-to styles, adding a little extra flair to your braid can upgrade you from adorable to erotic.
I suggest pulling your braid up to loosen and create additional volume. Another manageable upgrade is adding a fashionable ribbon into your braid, or even try wrapping a small section of hair around your hair tie to give your hair a neatly groomed look, rather than tossed back!
The Halo Braid
Trends are always popping up, but the halo braid is here to stay! Take the skills of a French braid, and instead of moving to the back of your head you will follow the curve of your natural head shape. Set your natural part, and braid around. You will need to secure the braid with a hairpin; feel free to combine cute accessories or pull a couple of strands downward, and you’re good to go
For those mamas rocking short hair, don’t let the nasty humidity bring you and your hair down! Use a little pomade to slick down strays and secure your hair in place through a long hectic day.
Are you obsessed with beach waved hair? Traditional curling irons are still making curls pop; add salt spray, and boom; beach waves!
Let your hair naturally air dry, next curl a few strands of your hair, spritz a light salt spray for grit. The natural “I woke up like this” style is an effortless look that can last all day!
Tip: Dry shampoo or texturizing spray can add volume and extend your hairstyle.
You can always play with these looks to add your flavor and remember, If you are using hot tools, apply heat protection to your hair. A heat protection spray manages to help decrease the lack of moisture from the hair, both from its surface and from the inside.
